About Us

OVO is a theatre company based in St Albans, England.

The company was founded in 2002 by Adam Nichols and Simon Nicholas and is now led by Adam Nichols and Imogen de la Bere.

Our name comes from the latin ‘ab ovo’ meaning ‘from the beginning’.

We produce around half a dozen productions each year at our own theatre - OVO @ Pudding Lane - in St Albans.  We also appear regularly at other theatres both locally and nationally and have, in recent years, toured our productions to London, Stratford upon Avon and Edinburgh.

OVO is a registered charity number 1132269.
